Fender Stratocaster 1979 USA, Natural Ash (Pre-Owned)
Made in USA,1979 Fender Stratocaster in a classic Natural Ash finish with a rosewood fretboard. This late-'70s workhorse has the authentic mojo and wear that only comes from decades of actual use, it looks surprisingly good for a vintage instrument of its era, but it naturally shows the character of a guitar that has been played hard over the years. Originally built as a hardtail model, it underwent a vintage player mod long ago to convert it to a standard six-screw synchronized tremolo system. As typical of modifications from that era, the internal routing job in the tremolo cavity was done by hand and is a bit rough around the edges, but it is fully functional, holds tune, and tells the authentic story of a gigging player's guitar. Apart from the tremolo conversion, the guitar remains completely original, featuring its factory-correct late-70s gray-bottom single-coil pickups that deliver that signature bell-like chime, cutting mid-range, and classic vintage Strat quack. A great-sounding, resonant piece of Fender history that wears its past proudly on its sleeve.
Comes with vintage hardshell case.
