Gibson SG Special 1968, Cherry (Pre-Owned)
Gibson SG Special in well-loved player-grade condition with natural play wear, dings, and lacquer checking from decades of use, complete with the original Gibson hardshell case (fitted with vintage replacement furniture hardware on the handle and latches from decades ago). Built in 1968 (serial number 522652), this vintage workhorse features a solid mahogany body finished in Cherry, a mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard and dot inlays, and the iconic full-face batwing pickguard. Retains its original Gibson P-90 single-coil pickups and matching 1968-dated pots. Heavily modified with the original vibrato tailpiece removed and replaced with a wrap-around tailpiece/bridge, and the original tuners replaced with Schallers.
