Hamstead Soundworks Ascent Amplitude Controller, Transparent Boost

The Hamstead Soundworks Ascent is a boutique, all-analogue clean boost pedal designed by Peter Hamstead and built in Great Britain. It provides up to 20 dB of transparent boost with exceptionally high headroom and minimal tonal coloration, making it ideal for raising overall volume, pushing the front end of an amplifier, or adding presence to a pedalboard without altering your core tone.

The Ascent uses a linear VCA-based circuit and Hamstead’s internally isolated high-voltage power design for a clear, powerful, and consistent response. It also features a silent OptoKick footswitch developed by TheGigRig.
